You might be surprized how many people have a hand in making our Sunday morning services happen like they do. Cleaning the Parking Lot, Making Coffee, Picking Up Trash, Stocking the Bathrooms, Folding the Bulletins, Greeting People at the Front Door, Welcoming our Guests, and Locking Up the Building are just some of the things we do every week. - Nursery
We provide nursery services every week for children from birth to four years of age. To provide this service we need a minimum of 7 adult workers in each service. If each adult worker only works once a month we need a team of 56 adults to provide this service to our children and thier parents. - Kid City
Kid City is the name of our children's ministry. Every week we provide age appropriate ministry to children from pre-kindergarten to sixth grade. The people who serve in this ministry are helping our church to impact tomorrow. If you would like to be part of this team please contact Greg Brown.
- Media/Sound Team
Scripture tells us that anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved. Then it asks, "how will they call upon a name that they do not know?" "how will they know His name if they do not hear it?" "how will they hear His name if there is not a sound man?" Just kidding. If you would like to be part of a team that helps spread the gospel using technology like our sound system or projection system please contact Jodie Meek.
- Worship Team
If you are a worshiper that knows how to play an instrument, you might want to consider trying out for our worship team. This very important group of people direct our attention towards Jesus Christ at the beginning of every service. If you would like to be part of this team please contact Becca Wilhite.
- Altar Team
At the end of every service we give people an opportuntiy to receive prayer. When they respond we want them to be prayed for by pepole who have faith to see God minister regardless of the recepients current condition. Altar Team members are not counselors, teachers, "pastors", or prophets. They are just a group of people who want to give back some of what God has given. - Life Group Leader
We are always looking for people who are capable of leading by example. Our Life Group leaders are not professional counselors, pastors, worship leaders, or bible teachers. Life Group Leaders are simply people who are willing to allow other people to be part of thier Life. Humility, Hospitality, and Friendlyness are the characteristics we desire most. - Assistant Leader
Every Life Group Leader is looking for people who would be willing to help them serve the members of our community. If you would like to do more to help our Life Group system be successfull, start attending a Life Group and ask the Life Group Leader how you could assist them.
- Life Group Host
One of the best ways to start serving in our Life Group System is to open your home and host a Life Group. By doing this you allow the Life Group Leader the opportunity to focus on their responsibilities without having to worry about preparing their home for guests as well. If you would like to serve in this way, start attending a Life Group and ask the Life Group leader if they would appreciate this type of help.
- Website Management
Our website has the potential of being an incredible resource for our churches. We would like to add much more content; but, every page takes time to develop. If you enjoy working with computers, if you have the ability to communicate clearly on paper, if you understand basic layout/design concepts, and if you can welcome criticism, you might want to consider working on this team. - Photography
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Please, let your cameras do some talking! Every event we host, any trip we take, all the ministry we provide in our community could be remembered more accurately with the help of talented photographers. If you like to take pictures please bring your best work on a CD to our office at 801 Broadway.
