Father's Day
Harvest Christian Fellowship had it's first Sunday Morning meeting on Father's day in 1988. Personally, I think that is a pretty signifacnt fact when we look at the D.N.A. of Harvest. Harvest has always been great place for men and I believe it will continue to be a great place for men in the years to come.
I also think it is amazing to watch God guide us in such "supernaturally natural" ways. Today, Father's Day 2010, in Amarillo, Curtis House was able to join us for the first time. I know that he and his family are going to fit right in around here and I am confident that there will be a "D.N.A. Transfer" to the Amarillo Campus as we get started.
Please, pray for the men of West Texas. Pray for them to find Jesus. Pray for them to find a chuch where they can be discipled as men. Pray for their families and pray for them all to become the glorious representation of His nature that God intends them all to be.
If you are a Father reading this message God Bless You. Thanks for taking the time to pray for what God is doing thru us in Amarillo.

As you talk about fathers and Harvest I am reminded of the verse in Malachi 4 where it says "He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers." I believe at Harvest God has done that on a spiritual level. It is one of the things I absolutely love about our church- the Father's heart. I pray that just like Lubbock and Plainview have incredible Fathers in the Lord and people have been open and receptive to receiving from them that Amarillo will be the same way. I agree with you Chris that there will be a DNA transfer to Curtis and the Amarillo Campus. What an exciting time in the life of our church and in the Kingdom!

Oh, Pastor Chris,
What a blessing God has given us the opportunity to minister to our neighbors in Amarillo. I have been praying for the unfolding of His will, as you and Pastor Curtis do what God has for you to do. God has placed His Hand on this ministry. God has awesome giftings, blessings, and promotions for the Amarillo campus. I want to let you know that you have a prayer partner that will pray for the Holy Spirit, Devine Revelation of the integrity of the Word of God! Jesus is still at work doing the work of His Father!
Thank you for being His hands, feet, and mouthpiece.
